Primrose Cottage is a newly opened Bed and Breakfast situated in the middle of Lowick Village, which is centrally located in the Borders Region of North Northumberland.  It has been beautifully converted from The Old Village Smithy's cottage and decorated to a high standard with comfortable, spacious en suite bedrooms.  Each room has digital television, tea and coffee making facilities, and towels for the use of our guests.

We have been assessed by 'Visit Britain ~ Quality in Tourism' and received their FOUR STAR rating.

There is a large, comfortable conservatory lounge and Dining Room for the use of our guests, which still has the original well, although this is now covered by a glass panel for reasons of safety.

We are 10 miles south of the 'Historical Town of Berwick upon Tweed', 9 miles north of Wooler, 'The Gateway to The Cheviots' and 5 miles inland of the tidal causeway to Holy  Island, also known as Lindisfarne.  We therefore provide an excellent base for walking, cycling, golfing, bird watching or the general exploration of the  stunning, unspoiled North  Northumberland countryside and the rugged Scottish Borders.

All our guests can look forward to a genuine warm welcome and will enjoy home cooked cake on their arrival as well as excellent fayre during their visit.

Our rates are £30 per person and £25 per person from November to February with a supplement of £5 for single occupancy of a room.  Children are most welcome and the rate is £10 for each child under 12 years of age.
